WHO WE ARE:

JD’s PCs has been serving customers from Florida to California since 2005, but the majority of our work is done in Iowa from our home-base in Pella. We love our work, and want to help you get back to using your computer, fast.

Jonathan grew up in Altoona. After graduating from Central College, in 2002, he started JD’s PCs, in 2005. Jonathan loved computers and video games from his youth, but after college, he got a job in finance. His wife, Andi, got him computer parts for gifts over those first few years of marriage, and JD’s first Amazon purchase was a book titled, “Upgrading and Repairing PCs – the 13th Edition.” From there curiosity took over. Within a couple of years, JD built his first computer. It was an arduous process, but the satisfaction of the first successful boot, fed his desire to learn more. At a friend’s house for dinner, JD got his first “job.” After fixing the family’s desktop, while playing cards, his friends offered payment, which he declined. A week later JD receive a second call, from the same friend, with an additional problem, but, shockingly, refused to let him fix it without receiving payment. A light-bulb went on, and JD’s PCs was born!

In 2018, Cedric Auberg joined the JD’s PCs team, as our first full time employee. Cedric has an internal love for the computing world. Over the last few years, that passion has turned into a massive knowledge base. However, the real skill of a fantastic computer repair technician, is not knowledge, but ingenuity and problem solving skills. Cedric has both, and that’s what makes him great at his job. He loves to help people and excels at communication.
